Oliver Twist

Okay ya'll. Here is the link to the Rockingham Co. Theatre Guild:
It has the dates and times for Oliver Twist. I do hope some of you can come. I am so tickled with my little costume. I thought it would be a big, black sack (I am an undertaker's wife ya know). But it is very fitting and you know black is slimming. It even has sequins!
By the way, today is Kenleigh's official birthday day and she has had the best time. She is quite sad her birthday is over. She wants another. I am so blessed. I have two wonderfully unique and handsome boys and a precious girl. Jared made straight A's his first 9 weeks and Isaac's teacher can barely keep up with him. I am so proud. I would be even if they didn't completely rock in school, I'm just proud of who they are. They are really good kids all in all :)
Okay, you know I'm going to put a picture in here... let's see...DISNEY!

I had to ride all the round and round rides. Mike can't take them :)
Kenleigh thought Pluto was crazy. It tickled her that he signed the autograph book on his nose.
Look at the 3 monkey's :)

Announcing....

I have a beautiful new niece! I am so sorry I have not announced her before now. And I do not have a picture to share yet, but as soon as I get one I will pass it on.

Her name is Wrenn Elaine. She weighed 8 lb. 9 oz. She has a pretty good amount of hair and it is very dark. I think she looks like Jennifer.

I adore her name. I wanted to name Kenleigh, Wrenn but it just did not go good with our last name.

Jennifer is doing well. Foster is SO protective already. Keegan told people at church if they messed with her he would kill them. (I think that is so funny. Can't you just see him saying that!)

All about ME!

Yes. This entry will be all about me!

#1 - I passed my certification examination. My professional title is a Clinical Nurse Specialist. I have my Master's Degree in Nursing in Education, then went back again, and obtained a Post-master's certificate as an Adult Health CNS. They really don't let you say you have 2 master's degree in the same subject (which is a bummer in my opinion). But anyway.....I digress. So, you all know me and that of course I would have to take this exam at some point to prove myself. I took it and passed! About 4 hours of testing. I was SO scared. No, the sky wouldn't fall, but I do not do well with failure. So now my credentials are: RN, MSN, ACNS-BC. My loving husband told my children that I probably wouldn't stop till I have the whole alphabet behind my name ;-)

#2 - Going along with my comment about not doing well with failure....I finally got a part in our County Theatre Guild production. I tried out (the first time ever trying out for any type of play) for Steel Magnolias last year and got a call back, but didn't make it :( Then I tried out for Children of Eden, offered a minor part, but declined due to scheduling conflicts with Bible School. SO, tried out for Oliver! and was offered a pretty good part. I'm going to be Mrs. Sowersbury (sp?) the undertaker's wife and I have to speak with a British accent!!!! So Funny.

Okay. That's all. All about me ;-)

DISNEY

I have SO many Disney pictures! This is going to take Forever!!

The first one is on the first day in Downtown Disney. All 3 of them are in there with the Lego people.

The next is all the kids with Pluto. It was in the evening of the first day at Magic Kingdom. He had the shortest line :)

The boys in front of Magic Kingdom, Mickey was decorated with pumpkins and goards. It was a beautiful time of year to go.

All of us eating at Boatwrights. That free dining ROCKED!!!

More to come later.

My Roses

It know it has been forever since I have blogged. So for those of you who stay faithful and check every now and then. God bless you.

I do have good reason though. I was gone like 2 and 1/2 weeks of Sept. My first trip was a business trip for a week to Illinois. It was last minute and I really didn't want to go. I do not like to fly and I have never been away from the kids that long, and Kenleigh is especially clinging to me these days.

So....when I walked in my room, these beautiful roses were waiting on me! The pictures do not do them justice. They were 6 of the biggest most beautiful roses I have ever seen. Of course I went to all my co-workers rooms and showed them :)

We even used them as the centerpiece in our workshop in our circle (don't ask). Just wanted to share them with you all and wish you a wonderful day.

The other week and a half was Disney. There are many, many, many pictures of that to follow very soon. But I'll give you a while to absorb the magnificance of the roses. ;-p

Blog Changes

I changed my background colors. A shout out to my boys and my girl with the blue and pink now. Still not too masculine, I know...but that other was way too bright. Not me :)

Also....I added the blogs I look at to the sidebar on the left of the screen, under My Blog List. One of my cousins-in-law from out of town, Stacy, mentioned at Jennifer's shower today that she liked looking at my blog...which is nice to hear b/c sometimes I wonder if it's worth it....I digress.... And then I told her that another cousin-in-law, Lisa, had pictures of her daughter (Stacy's) on her blog from the reunion too. She had no idea. So I told her I would send her the link...but instead, Stacy this if for you (and others too :) a link to Lisa's blog :)

Look at these before and after pictures! I was posting pictures of Carowinds and these picture folders were close to each other. The 1st one is April 2006, so.....Jared is almost 6, Isaac is days from being 4 and Kenleigh is 5 months old. Now....fast forward 2 + years. Jared 8, Isaac 6, Kenni almost 3!
They had a blast at Carowinds! This was on the back of the blue train. The other is Kenleigh at the Dora show. See her covering her mouth, she is in the middle beside Isaac. She was SO excited. It was very much worth it.

PS - Thank everyone SO much who came to Jennifer's shower today. I know it meant the world to her and I really appreciate it very, very much. Thank you again for coming and I'll post some pictures from that sometime :)
